Clearance Limit
A clearance limit is the specific point to which an aircraft is granted an ATC clearance. If an aircraft is cleared only to an intermediate point, a further clearance must be obtained before proceeding beyond it in controlled airspace. When there is any change to the clearance limit, a completely new clearance will be issued.
